An exciting opportunity has become available to work within our growing Venture Onward Service based in Brighton and Hove as a Mental Health Support Worker. We have full-time or part-time roles available which will include weekend working.

We provide bespoke, community-based support packages to individuals with a complex need, including a mental health diagnosis and autism spectrum disorder.

Our clients may have spent an extended period in hospital or other setting. We work with a person-centred approach; empowering individuals to become as independent as possible within their own home.

As a Mental Health Support Worker, your role will be delivering quality support that enables people to achieve their outcomes by using and developing person-centred support plans. You will be able to manage risks and vulnerabilities whilst promoting social inclusion and maximising the opportunities for the people you support.

Additional Information

We are looking for someone who is able to work the weekends in our service, however, this could be incorporated into a full-time Mental Health Support Worker role if needed.

Desired Skills

It would be desirable for you to have had experience of supporting a person(s) with a mental health condition and within a community-based services.
