Our Telesales team are responsible for making contact with self-employed individuals (many of whom have been referred to us from the company contracting them for work) to discuss the services we offer.

As part of this Telesales team, you’ll be fully trained, not only in selling techniques but also in the details of self-assessment tax, VAT, and self-employment in general.  With these new skills and knowledge, you’ll be able to best advise customers on the products or packages we can offer to suit their needs and support them with their finances and accounting.

We offer several products and services across the Group, so understanding the customers’ circumstances and needs will help you to identify other services we can provide.

As the Telesales Assistant Manager, you’ll also be tasked with supporting the Internal Sales Director with successfully delivering departmental KPI’s, whilst acting as a mentor and motivator for the other members of the telesales department.

In this Telesales Assistant Manager role, your duties would include:

  • monitoring, collating and reporting on daily, weekly, and monthly sales records for individuals, teams, and the department as a whole
  • conducting morning sales meetings
  • training new starters on all products
  • ensuring all new starters are welcomed and inducted into each of the teams
  • ensuring the departmental KPIs are met successfully
  • being part of products and development in new products / systems
  • conducting 1-2-1’s on a monthly basis
  • supporting the Internal Sales Director in developing the sales department, providing feedback for improvements wherever necessary
  • identifying and pursuing opportunities for cross-selling Group products and services to generate business and increase profitability
  • making follow-up phone calls to prospective clients to confirm receipt of information, overcome potential objections, and possibly re-sell the proposition
  • providing feedback to management of potential improvements to existing procedures and scripting
  • supporting colleagues and team members with professional problems, working to help them to resolve any issues

This Telesales Assistant Manager role would suit candidates with experience in people management, telesales, sales, new business, telephony, IT, customer support, upselling, cross-selling, and as a Team Leader or Sales Executive.

OTE up to £38,000. Our working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am-5.30pm, and Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm. All applications require the right to work in the UK; we don’t currently hold a license to provide work sponsorship.

Essential Skills
