Are you a target-driven Team Leader with experience in customs?
We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with operational, supervisory, and customs experience to join our team based in West Drayton.
The purpose of this Team leader role is to support the warehouse in consistently achieving health and safety, volume, quantity, and efficiency targets and complying with HMRC Border Force regulations. This enables us to continue to deliver the highest quality, most cost-effective offering for our customers across all products.
Responsibilities of the Team Leader
- Act as a role model demonstrating a professional courteous manner. Assist in the development of a strong team culture by building effective relationships with colleagues from around the business sharing information to maximise efficiency.
- Assist the co-ordination of shift activities, delegating and prioritising work appropriately.
- Train team members on induction to support personal development and/or performance improvement on the team.
- Assist in the compilation of team performance reporting across the business including KPI, absence, skills, conduct, and health & safety reporting.
- Adhere to and maintain all standard operating procedures in the warehouse including being responsible for the returns processes.
- Understand and assist the Customs Manager in carrying out quality checks against process and procedures, ensuring compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements.
- Adhere to Customs regulations from Border Force and Trading Standards and comply with all Health, Safety and Environment policies and other relevant regulations ensuring accurate recording and reporting of any incidents, accidents or near misses.

Additional Information
Shift pattern: Monday – Friday, 8am-4.30pm and 11.30am – 8pm.
As part of this Team Leader role, there is a requirement to work one Saturday in every four.
