Focusing on combining our Protective Services to create Solutions for our clients which mitigate their risks and meet the needs of their business.

This role will focus on Electronic Security but will work in conjunction with the operations teams to develop solutions which combine any mix of our Protective Services to accelerate the growth of the national Solution Business to support the UK targets.

On a national level, the Operational organization (Areas and Branches) are accountable across all business lines (including Electronic Security) for sales (farming and new sales) and operations.

A newly established Solutions organization, at country level led by the Head of Solutions, is overall accountable for growing the Solutions business at country level, including the development, sales support, and delivery of Solutions.

The Solution Delivery Project Manager will report to the Solution Delivery Manager and will work in close cooperation with Operations (Areas /Branches), the Solution Sales team, Solutions Design Team, and the local partners for installation & maintenance.

Your role will include the following responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Solution Sales Specialists/Solutions Design Specialists to understand the agreed proposal and of the contract and implementation requirements, with the inputs from various Securitas stakeholders, detail existing plans for a seamless delivery of the Solution
  • Coordinate the Solution delivery, lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation
  • Coordinate the successful delivery of the designed solution, in collaboration with selected partners responsible for installation
  • Capture project compliance-related documentation and share at handover stage with the ES Service Team
  • Plan, organise and oversee project commissioning and acceptance by client, ensuring system functionality and customer satisfaction. Handover the project to the Solution Sales Specialist once the project implementation is reaching completion
  • To coordinate internal and external resources, ensuring projects remain within scope, schedule, and defined budgets, in collaboration with project staff from various functional departments
  • Lead the review of completed projects, ensuring that learning points are captured and actioned to drive continuous improvement
  • To support in the design, commissioning and service support of any complex Solutions which require a higher level of technical guidance and support and noncomplex projects to make sure we create a first time Solution culture
  • To ensure all prebuild of servers, cameras, routers, and switches to be shipped out to partners or ES for any relevant solutions projects
  • Documentation control for all RVS sites, responsible for implementing and managing standardised naming conventions across all RVS documents, processes, and systems
  • Managing and co-ordinating all system updates and ensuring all sites are in line with all current software and firmware versions
  • Optimisation of all Intelligent video Analytics across all sites. This should be in conjunction with the monitoring of system performance with the SOC and working closely with the Technical Service Desk and any other areas where required

Essential Skills

The ideal Solutions Delivery Specialist will possess the following experience and traits:

  • 5 years of experience in managing and delivering projects in Electronic Security or related industry
  • Project Management Qualifications and proficient in using project management software
  • Experience in undertaking project costings and managing margins
  • Commercial business experience (for dealing with external partners)
  • Knowledge base with respect to technical security products
  • Good communicator and at ease with presenting in front of a wide range of key stakeholders
  • A strong team player who contributes positively to the Country Operational, Sales and Solution teams
  • One team mindset – we win & lose together. Zero blame culture, no politics
  • Hands on mindset and high work capacity – if it needs to get done you get it done
