We are recruiting for a Senior Sales Advisor who is a sales-focused person able to progress warm leads, share knowledge, and is as passionate about customer service as we are.

Our customer centre in Swindon is at the heart of our business, delivering first class customer service to customers throughout the entire UK. Previous sales experience is required along with knowledge of motivating a team.

This Senior Sales Advisor role would be suitable for those coming from a sales background or someone who has worked as an inbound sales executive, outbound customer service advisor, or warm leads consultant looking for the next step in their career.

Shift pattern alternates between 9.00 to 6.00 or 11.00 to 8.00 and requires working 3 weekends in every 4.

This role is based in our Swindon Head Office, currently working 1 week in the office and 1 week at home.

Essential Skills

  • Supporting your team manager to lead and motivate the team 
  • Contributing to call handling & sales targets when needed
  • Taking regular buzz sessions and motivating staff 
  • Providing coaching and feedback to support employee development and performance
  • Finding and agreeing on appropriate solutions for customer complaints
  • Ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to
  • Maintaining departmental and personal Service Level Agreements and KPIs in line with company expectations
  • Ensuring all communications, are of the highest standard and in line with company guidelines
  • Taking ownership of customer issues that have been reported/allocated to you, resolving appropriately, and following up 
  • Where appropriate, seek advice and guidance from line management where cases are out of the ordinary, or there is the uncertainty of the nature of the issue or appropriate response
  • Deputise when the team manager is absent 
  • Working with team managers to review, create, and roll out training for telesales agents
  • Supporting team managers with 1:1 preparation

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience in a sales focused environment
  • Have demonstrable experience of achieving targets and KPI’s
  • Have the ability to articulate our USP’s and services 
  • Have the ability to remain calm in a busy, pressurised environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
