The Security Supervisor is responsible to deliver the Airbus Operations Ltd Work Specification for Security Services, encompassing Guarding, Surveillance, and Interventions.
About the role:
Responsible to lead site security staff to deliver and maintain Security standards to the required level, managing proactive routine in standard operating conditions and the response to a range of security and safety threats and events.
The Security Supervisor will have ownership of the day-to-day key deliverables and will oversee service delivery elements for the Security Team. The Security Supervisor will assist the Service Delivery Manager and Operational Support to provide direction and support, ensuring the delivery team are fully focused on ensuring a compliant and customer focused operation which exceeds the client’s expectations
Leading a team of site Security staff and work in collaboration with other Securitas colleagues across the Airbus site. To ensure workload is effectively delegated between the team and other Securitas colleagues; with particular focus on ensuring site emergencies are effectively resourced, well planned and executed.
Ensuring the attendance, appearance, aptitude, and attitude of the Security Team meets the required standard, ensuring non-compliances are identified and addressed.

Shift pattern: Its 4 on 4 off 2 days and 2 nights.
Pay Rate £14.50
42 hours per week. The training upskill payment split into modules will also be available on satisfactory completion. Potentially £3,300
Essential Skills
- You should have previous experience in a similar role.
- Frontline SIA Licence and able to achieve a 5-year employment and person check; must be capable of achieving CTC or SC clearances.
- Hold a First Aid Qualification or equivalent.
- The post-holder is required to be educated to GCSE English and Maths (A-C) or equivalent, physically fit, well presented and hold a current driving license free of endorsement.
- Managing and Leading Others – Must have previous experience in similar role.
- Must meet the physical and medical standard required for the role through Self-Assessment
- Self-motivated and motivate others (Saville’s Assessment Process)
- Ability to manage conflict (Saville’s Assessment Process)
- Can give but also take instruction and carry out thoroughly and consistently.

- A change of shift, for operational purposes, may be invoked at short notice to meet the requirements of the business. This is not to be interpreted as a change of shift rota.
