We are looking for Relief Security Officers to join our team based in Middlesbourgh and Darlington.
Within this opportunity you will provide executive security services in line with the assignment instructions and client requirements in order to protect the clients’ employees, property, and other assets.
Your Opportunity:
Relief Security Officer Roles available in Middlesbrough and the surrounding areas.
Relief Security Officer covering sites within Middlesbrough for 36 / 42 / 48 hours, to cover sickness, holidays, adhoc requests, working over days, nights, weekends.
To be considered you must have:
- SIA licence
- Driving licence
Access to a motor vehicle is preferential, however not essential (due to shift timings and locations of sites) Mileage allowance paid upon meeting set criteria.
Our Security Officers will have the duty of:
- Friendly face, approachable and keeping people safe
- Provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors.
- Meet and greet staff, visitors and contractors.
- Prevent and deter unauthorised access to the site.
- Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms, and CCTV.
- Conduct external and internal security patrols.
- Ensure health and safety procedures are always followed.
- Record and report all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices.
- Remain 100% alert and vigilant at all times to detect and deter any suspicious or threatening behaviour.
- Undertake any other duties as requested by Branch Management.
Essential Skills
Requirements of Security Officer:
- SIA Licence
- Full UK driving licence
- The right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
- Excellent customer service, people skills, organisational skills and time management
- Smart and presentable in appearance. Polite and proactive in engaging customers
- Fully flexible and able to cover shifts at short notice and work days, nights and weekends
