We are looking for a Lead QA (Quality Assurance) Analyst with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance experience to join Travel Counsellors as part of the In-Life Systems team.
As a QA Analyst, you will work alongside a systems accountant and will embed into a finance systems technology team who are responsible for our franchise finance systems within Travel Counsellors.
The role will come in when we are in the final stages of implementation, and you will act as continuity into the in-life phase of this system. You will be responsible for the maintenance testing and operational support of this system, supporting a growing finance department and franchise business.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Joining as a QA Analyst, your duties will include:
Implementation
- Assisting the project team QA with the final stages of testing in the implementation.
- Ensuring all regression scripts and task recording are in place within ADO and LCS (Life Cycle Services) in readiness for go live and the 1st maintenance release in August 2023.
- Owning and taking on all artefacts that will be used in the in-life phase from the project QA.
- Gaining an understanding of our business, practices, and processes, to create/maintain successful test scenarios, a test plan, and subsequent execution.
- Through advanced knowledge of D365 F&O, supporting and guiding internal finance colleagues who will be involved in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and end to end solution testing.
- Working alongside our strategic third-party partners who will carry out integration and application development.
In-life phase
Maintenance and Development Releases
- Alongside a systems accountant, transformation lead, and our D365 technology partner, owning, scheduling, and releasing our D365 instance as per the quarterly release schedule.
- Maintaining and improving in line with business needs, process, and function adoption the test strategy and test architecture in line with the maintenance scheduling with our tech partner and Microsoft.
Operational Support
- In these early years migrating to D365, yourself and the systems accountant will be the go-to support for finance colleagues in matters concerning financial process and how D365 is best suited to support the activity of a company in growth.
- In conjunction with other D365 specialists, you will support the technical service desk and finance colleagues with level 1, 2 & 3 support tasks to resolution.

Essential Skills
- Finance or accountancy background.
- Participated or lead QA, in a previous D365 implementation or in-life.
- Relevant experience in software testing across multiple delivery methodologies including waterfall and different flavours of agile.
- Relevant experience in creating sales, purchase, and transfer orders; validating them at key transition points and confirming success or failure of the end-to-end operation in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.
- Experience in testing D365 finance including procurement, cash and bank, fixed assets, general ledger, purchase ledger, sales ledger, tax, products, and expenses in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations.

Essential Requirements
- Finance or accountancy background.
- Participated or lead QA, in a previous D365 implementation or in-life.
