With You are recruiting for a visionary leader to join them as a Multimedia Content Manager, to develop and lead the delivery of engaging and creative multimedia content to support all marketing and communications activity across the organisation. This role will join our brand new Marketing and Communications directorate, an innovative team of people who are committed to raising the profile of With You and connecting with our stakeholders in new ways. The postholder will support the Head of Brand and Digital to drive creative thinking across the team in content creation, in order to grow income in our targeted geographical growth areas and influence our key audiences; Commissioners, Directors of Public Health and other key decision makers; potential new staff and potential service users. As part of this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of multimedia content such as film, photo, GIFs, animations, illustrations and graphics, across all marketing and communications activities within the organisation. You will ensure that our content enables us to secure media coverage, increased engagement on our social media channels, market and communicate our services, drive brand awareness and connect with our key audiences, ensuring all content is on brand. This is a new role for our charity, so we are looking for someone who has the knowledge and passion to make this role their own, with the ability to be able to advise a variety of teams on multimedia needs and deliverables. We’re looking for demonstrable experience working in a communications environment, with a successful track record of delivering a variety of multimedia content. You will have strong working knowledge of social media, broadcast, print and online media, as well as a keen interest in keeping up to date with the latest digital trends. This is a busy team, with multiple priorities ongoing and huge plans for growth, so it’s important that you are highly organised and able to manage your time effectively. Importantly, we are looking for an individual who has a passion for and experience of supporting people to tell their stories. A full job description is available on request.

Essential Skills

  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working in a communications environment with a successful track record at delivering multimedia content such as film, photo, GIFs, animations, illustrations and graphics.
  • A passion for and experience of supporting people to tell their stories.
  • A wealth of knowledge to be able to advise a variety of teams on multimedia needs and deliverables – understanding all social media platforms, broadcast, print and online media and latest trends.
  • Graphic design knowledge with experience creating a wide range of materials including presentations,  reports, print ads, leaflets, newsletters and branded merchandise.
  • Experience adopting a specific tone of voice and delivering it consistently across all content.
  • Working knowledge of print production methods and procedures.
  • High level awareness of the latest trends in design.
  • Experience running multiple projects at one time.
  • Video editing and self-shooting skills using Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Design skills using InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat Pro.
  • Excellent visual design judgement.
  • Excellent research skills.
  • Excellent news sense and editorial judgement.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good awareness of what influences decision makers and key stakeholders
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and build a network across internal clients and external partners and to do so sensitively and compassionately.
  • Excellent organisational skills, able to plan and coordinate work, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Good ability to evolve and secure value for money from products and tools.
  • Self-motivated and ambitious.
  • Open and approachable style of working.
  • Ability to work flexible and unsocial hours as required
