If you have experience of running Substance Misuse services, especially as a CQC /Care inspectorate registered manager, and understand the risks involved when things are not going quite as planned – then you’ll love being part of our national audit team. This is not simply a compliance role. As a learning organisation, this role offers the opportunity to ensure our provision continuously improves and develops and that we evidence this in line with legislation and quality statements. Your work will involve national travel across England and Scotland including overnight stays away from home.
The ideal candidate will have in depth knowledge and experience of implementing external sector specific standards & guidance (such as NICE, CQC or Care inspectorate standards), a thorough understanding of compliance and risk based audit approaches and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of individuals at all levels of an organisation.
The postholder will conduct a wide range of risk based audits nationally. This will include remote and onsite audits and providing timely verbal and written reports on audit findings, reporting to the CIRG or SDCGG as required. You will support Operational Managers to develop Improvement Plans as necessary and support the Clinical Governance Directorate in monitoring progress against Improvement Plans.
