We are looking for an experienced, people-centric HR Advisor to join our small (but mighty) HR team.

What is the role of HR Advisor?

This advisory-level position will take responsibility as the first port of call for all employee/HR-related queries in the business. As such, you may be responsible for anything to do with HR, ensuring policies are consistent and HR queries are dealt with promptly and reliably.

What you’ll be responsible for as HR Advisor:

  • All generalist HR duties, from ER to recruitment, absence management to disciplinaries, and everything in between!
  • Working with our management and senior management team to ensure everyone in the wider team have everything they need to do their jobs at a world-class level
  • Supporting with the creation and implementation of departmental strategies including but not limited to; organisational development, talent planning, and learning and development
  • Ensuring our department and the company remain legally compliant with all employment legislation
  • Ensuring our policies are regularly reviewed and upheld across the business
  • Pushing the boundaries of what good HR practice looks like by creating innovative solutions, and ensuring we remain an employer of choice

We welcome applications for this HR Advisor position from candidates with skills or experience in Human Resources, GDPR legislation, and employment law with a Level 5 CIPD qualification.

  • Extensive knowledge of Human Resources and Employment Law
  • Level 5 CIPD
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Experience of working in a manufacturing environment (desirable)
  • Knowledge of GDPR legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
