With You are recruiting for the newly created role of Head of Brand and Digital, to develop and lead the strategy and delivery of With You’s brand and digital activities. This role will join our new Marketing and Communications directorate, an innovative team of people who are committed to raising the profile of With You and connecting with our stakeholders in new ways. The postholder will lead on maximising our brand and digital offering, to grow income in our targeted geographical growth areas and influence our key audiences –  Commissioners, Directors of Public Health and other key decision makers; potential new staff and potential service users. You will provide clear direction and inspirational leadership to the Brand and Digital team, demonstrating and upholding high levels of performance and lead on the delivery of our strategy, including through our website and social media channels. As part of this role, the postholder will be responsible for the management of our brand, ensuring that it is fit for purpose and user friendly. This role will also lead on the development of our new website, an exciting project for With You which will ensure our content resonates with our key audiences. We are looking for someone who has the passion and knowledge to enable us to deliver high quality branded content, allowing us to connect with more people than ever before.

To be successful in this role, you will be a highly experienced brand marketer with a track record of leading and delivering successful brand implementations and campaigns. You will have demonstrable experience in managing highly successful digital marketing channels including websites, social media and blogs, as well as strong creativity and influencing skills. This is a busy team, with multiple priorities ongoing and huge plans for growth, so it’s important that you are highly organised and able to manage your time effectively. Essential Skills

  • A relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Highly experienced brand marketer with a track record of leading and delivering successful brand implementations and campaigns.
  • Deep knowledge of brands and branding with a strong track record of working on brand development and a real passion for shaping brands.
  • Experience managing highly successful digital marketing channels including website, social media and blogs. 
  • Excellent news sense and editorial judgement, with an understanding of producing multimedia content.
  • Strong project management experience.
  • Experience managing a high performing team.
  • Strong creative skills with a real understanding of the importance of a brand’s visual and verbal identity.
  • Excellent visual design judgement.
  • Good awareness of what influences decision makers and how to use brand to influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to build rapport and credibility across multiple stakeholders, internally and externally at all levels.
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills.
  • Strategic thinking ability and operational judgement.
  • Exceptional people and team leadership skills, and ability to manage, coach and motivate staff.
  • Ability to work flexible and unsocial hours as required

Desired Skills

  • Experience in working for a charity or NGO, similar organisation.
  • Experience in managing the launch or relaunch of an organisational website.
