We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate RF Engineer to be based at our UK Head Office site in Yateley.
This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate graduate RF engineer to work alongside our engineers for all aspects of specialist calibration, measuring instrumentation to national standards in a UKAS -17025 accredited Laboratory to ensure a first-class service to our customers.
You will be offered a 24-month training plan with the opportunity to gain experience across our UK and Ireland sites, whilst having an assigned mentor to guide you through your journey and assist with project work.
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team as a graduate RF Engineer, you will undertake calibration measurements to the correct procedures, instructions and specifications and maintain relevant records of work, data and results in a traceable and auditable manner utilising the relevant business management system. As you develop you will be responsible for conducting specialist and complex calibration operations developing and following procedures and ensuring compliance with client contractual and KPI obligations.
Other responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and improvement of inspection and calibration procedures.
- Provide technical expertise to the internal customer service team, the external customer & Technicians/ Engineers
- Coaching/Training Apprentices and Technicians
- Participate in external/internal audits
- Ensure that mandatory and legislative QHSE aspects of work are implemented at all times.
Essential Skills
Our ideal Graduate RF Calibration Engineer
- Degree in a relevant engineering discipline
- Previous experience working in the calibration industry is desirable but not essential
- Strong understanding of Windows-based and Laboratory automation software.
- Excellent communication skills, both in person and in writing
- Experience working within Customer focused environment
