Are you a recent graduate looking to launch your career in financial services?

Do you already have some financial experience and wish to join a firm where you can take your career to the next level?

Austin Friars Financial is a city-based mortgage and protection business which has grown in each of our eight years of trading since our establishment in 2014. We specialise in advising whole-of-market solutions to our clients who range in profile from small and basic to large and complex. Currently an eight-person team, we work closely together in our advisory and support roles.

Our rapid growth and aspirational plans for the future now require us to expand the team, so we can take full advantage of all business opportunities that are opened up to us. We believe that people are the backbone of a successful business; therefore, we know that with a strong team, we can provide the best service possible. Most importantly, by attracting the right people into our business, we can be sure also to attract the right client for our company.

As a Mortgage and Protection Administrator, you will work as an integral part of the support team at Austin Friars Financial. This will mean liaising between the Support Manager, Mortgage Advisers, Mortgage Lenders, Solicitors, Insurance Providers, our clients and all other parties involved during the mortgage and protection processes, including to ensure that each mortgage and protection policy is converted from an application to completion.

Daily, we will look to you to manage our pipeline of ongoing applications. This will involve spending a large amount of time on the telephone speaking with lenders/insurers and updating on the status of existing applications as well as actively speeding the process along. You will ensure our clients receive exceptional service throughout the process and are kept up to date.

Your role will also include responsibility for the administrative elements of the process including keeping the paperwork up to date, sending correspondence, updating our internal systems, and adhering to our internal and external compliance processes and regulations.

What we will do for you:

  • We will provide you with opportunities to be influential in improving and growing the business.
  • We will invest time and resources into your professional career development through training (both formal and on-the-job), regular and frequent reviews, guidance and support. Our partners will take personal responsibility for this.
