Are you a detail-orientated Finance Manager looking for an exciting new challenge within a multi-award-winning software company?

Due to business growth, we have a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Manager to join our friendly, talented team to oversee day-to-day financial operations.

This role and would suit someone with the ability to work independently who has previous experience in a Finance Manager role.

The salary for this role is 30 – 40K DOE pro rata and is a part-time position of 2-3 days a week.

Smart Recruit Online is a VC-backed RecTech SaaS venture looking for a Finance Manager with the confidence and knowledge to act as the bridge between the business and the external accounting firm who process transactions, as well as independently representing the finance function in the office.

You will own the finance and accounting functions of the business and will need an enthusiasm for process optimisation to contribute to our continuing growth and success as a company.

We are looking for a Finance Manager with strong technical and analytical skills, who can implement and monitor efficient accounting processes within a growing SaaS company.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing day-to-day financial operations
  • Credit control
  • Producing accurate financial reports
  • Developing and improving processes and controls across the business
  • Managing the subscription system (once trained)
  • Monthly accounting and reporting activities

This is a hybrid working position; working from the office one day a week to cultivate great working relationships with the rest of the team and get involved in our lively and welcoming company culture. We know this style of working does not suit everybody, so you are welcome to work from the office more regularly if you’d prefer.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum AAT Level 3 or equivalent

Desired Skills

  • Experience working within a SaaS company
  • Experience in using Xero
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Word
