We are looking for an organised and passionate individual to join the team as an Events Assistant based in Manchester.

The focus of this role is to assist in the co-ordination and organisation of all Travel Counsellor based events.

You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business to help the event coordinators craft exceptional events and experiences for our Travel Counsellors, who are based all over the UK.

This role is for an Events Assistant who can think quickly on their feet, can handle working in a highly pressurised environment, and is looking for a new challenge.

Events Assistant Duties

  • Assist event coordinators across the UK in organising and coordinating events.
  • Aid in creative development to ensure our events are the best in the business, ranging from small, tailored events to our famous annual conference for over 2,000 people. 
  • Administrative tasks that will include but are not limited to collating information and cross-checking documentation and contracts to ensure all our events, both for our Support Team colleagues and our Travel Counsellors, are a resounding success.
  • Assisting in the delivery of events both on and off site.

Essential Skills

  • Previous experience in the event industry preferred but not essential.
  • Working in a similar position previously. 
  • Passion for organising incredible events and experiences, with proven track-record in managing/hosting successful events.
  • Some knowledge of event registration software and venue sourcing systems.
  • Ability to draft and send coherent communications to large audiences.
