White Oak are currently recruiting for a Full Time Direct Lending Consultant to join our Direct Sales team based in Chester. We are looking for highly-motivated and organised individuals with excellent communication skills and a self-starter mentality.
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team as a Direct Lending Consultant, you will be responsible for your own lead generation and convert inbound enquiries. Other duties include:
- Present WO to potential clients predominantly through telephone contact.
- Develop new business relationships with potential clients by offering our products via superior customer service.
- Achieve productivity and sales budget KPI’s set out by the Company.
- Develop an understanding of customer requirements to offer a client focused service.
- Adhere to FCA Conduct rules and Core Responsibilities relating to Sales function and the role.
- Maintain and manage a pipeline and ensuring administration is completed on WOUK’s internal systems to aid the fair treatment of customers.
- Create and be accountable for all client quotes and proposals, following WOUK Finance procedures through the whole process.
- Understand your client’s requirements and price transactions accordingly.
- Perform your role with a positive and constructive attitude within the team environment.
- Ensure all compliance regulation and legislation is adhered to where relevant.
- Interact professionally with the Head of, Team Managers, and the various support teams.
- Any other request deemed reasonable from your line manager.
Essential Skills
Who are we looking for?
Prior sales experience gained within a financial services environment would be advantageous e.g. insurance, lending, business-to-business. You will also require the following skills and experience:
- 2 – 5 years of prior sales experience
- Knowledge of asset finance
- Computer literacy
- Analytical skills
- Knowledge of financial sector
- Experience of generating telephone sales leads
