A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Securitas UK for an experienced Duty Security Manager who will work at our client’s prestigious premises in York.
The Duty manager is responsible for operational management of all on shift security personnel with regards to performance, standards, measures and centralised reporting and the day-to-day operational issues arising which may impact upon the contract at Our clients premise to demonstrate the Securitas values of Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness
Key Responsibilities:
- To rigorously review and promote health and safety on
- All security personnel are contacted and reviewed/coached as required at least once a month to proactively monitor performance and maintain positive employee relations.
- To maintain communication via informal, formal signed briefings and toolkit
- All employee relations issues dealt with promptly and consistently using the company’s
disciplinary and grievance procedures, and other relevant policies and guidelines.
- Actively encourage staff recognition and staff nominations for
- All incidents are reported in compliance with the Customer’s policy and
- Planning, development and implementing strategy for personnel training, including routine duties and emergency
- Management of special assignments, ensuring that agreed security procedures are adhered to and the Security Team
- Always maintain the highest professional standards.
- Monitor faults with security related equipment, ensuring they are reported
- Being fully conversant with operational functions including Access Control, CCTV, Detection and Alarm Systems, ensuring effective monitoring and reporting function is maintained.
- Analysis of complex information to identify security related trends, reporting these effectively to the
- Ensuring understanding and demonstrable implementation of the Values of Integrity; Vigilance and
- Ensuring adequate and appropriate training, advice and support is provided to make the team successful. This includes ensuring knowledge and use of key systems, tools and policies
- Be the first point of contact for site security function related queries and responsible for managing the resolution of more intricate operational issues that may
- Accurate completion of company documents in line with company policy/process
