Here’s a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Deputy Operations Manager to join the friendly team at First Response Group for a high-profile event space based in central London.

Successful candidates will be required to assist the Operations Manager with the day-to-day operations of the site, as well as implementing the strategy and operational planning of the overall site and Events uplifts.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deliver the highest levels of customer service consistently demonstrating the core values of First Response Group.
  • To protect the integrity, security and safety of the site, its employees, guests, and visitors
  • To support the strategy and operational planning of all permanent, uplift and event deployments
  • Investigate security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behaviour
  • Complete reports and record observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  • Ensure compliance with government regulations such as GDPR
  • Lead on the resource provision (including Event cover and training), roster management, procurement of uniform/PPE and audit preparation
  • Oversee the supervision of all event staff training and identify further training & development needs
  • To oversee the deployment of the team by way of operational planning, coordination, and allocation. Manage the supervision of compiling the rosters etc. to cover duties, holidays and absence
  • Manage the development, production and implementation of events from proposal to delivery.
  • Lead, manage and motivate direct reports including goal setting, performance reviews, appraisals, performance management, coaching, training & development planning.

Full-time position – variable hours to suit the demands of the role. Must be able to work Days, Nights & Weekends.

Essential Skills

  • Must have a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
  • Must have a valid CCTV Operators Licence
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Fully comprehensive 5-year work/unemployment/education history screenable to BS7858
  • Must have demonstrable experience of working in a similar role in high-profile / high-footfall environments
  • Have a high level of self-presentation
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills
