Part of the Whistl Group, we’re proud to say we’re at the heart of multi-channel retail and we currently have an exciting opportunity for experienced Customer Service Advisors to join our growing team.

These are temporary/seasonal roles with a view to a permanent role.

We have fantastic opportunities for Customer Service Advisors to join us in our fulfilment offices in Gateshead.  This is an ongoing temporary opportunity. Depending on performance and the business needs could become permanent. 

As a Customer Service Advisor, you will need to deeply care about how companies treat their customers as you will be working on behalf of our clients delivering first-class customer service.

Ideally, you will have at least 3-months customer service experience preferably gained within a customer service environment although all applicants will still be considered, and full training is provided.

Key responsibilities of a Customer Service Advisor:

  • Answer incoming calls, web chats, and emails to resolve customer orders and queries in a friendly, informative manner.
  • Utilise the intranet to provide accurate information on products and/or services available.
  • Understand processes (e.g., returns) and be able to articulate this on the phone to customers.
  • Undertake all aspects of administrative work competently and with attention to detail, including accurate data entry and attention to formal customer correspondence.
  • Manage customer satisfaction and resolve or escalate cases of customer dissatisfaction as appropriate and in a professional manner.

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience working within a customer-focused environment such as retail or hospitality would be an advantage.
  • English Language and Mathematics GCSE passes, or their Functional Skills Level 2 equivalents.
