Trinsic, a leading innovator in UK business communications, are working in partnership with PETA to recruit and train a friendly Customer & Sales Support Administrator Apprentice. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide an excellent first-class service to customers. The Customer & Sales Support Administrator Apprentice will work collaboratively with the sales team in bringing on board new customers and to develop relationships with existing customers, handling any inquiries and resolving issues promptly. They will also support the sales team in the preparation of reports and documentation for customer reviews.

Training to be provided:

Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard. You will complete a 15 month apprenticeship which includes 10 days at the PETA training centre in Cosham. You will be supported every 6 weeks with visits from your PETA Learning & Development Coach.

About the role:

The Customer & Sales Support Administrator Apprentice will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide an excellent service to customers via all channels, which include telephone, email and live chat
  • Build and manage working relationships with customers
  • Taking ownership of enquiries or issues and seeing them through to their natural conclusion
  • Update and maintain the CRM system with accurate information
  • Accurate processing and fulfilment of customers’ orders
  • Liaise with the sales team, supply partners and customers to coordinate the supply and delivery of products, support and services
  • Prepare reports and documentation for customer meetings and follow up on action points
  • General office administration including data entry

• 37.5 hours per week
• 2 weekly shift patterns; Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30 or 09:30-18:00 with 1 hour break
• Please note that there are 3 potential roles available
• Please note that public transport to the business park is limited
• There are excellent future progression routes including a full-time permanent role in the Sales or Customer Service teams with a pay rise upon completion of the apprenticeship.

Essential Skills

As this is an apprenticeship, no prior experience is required! However, applicants should have:

  • GCSEs in maths and English with at least a grade C / 4
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office
  • A methodical, confident and organised approach to work
  • Good attention to detail
  • A professional, friendly, positive and effective approach to customers and colleagues

Desired Skills

It is beneficial for applicants to have some customer service experience and an interest in technology.
