This UK distribution site for an international producer of essential oils and ingredients is looking for a commercially focused science graduate to join their growing team.
This is an opportunity for a graduate who is curious about chemistry to implement their skills in a non-lab based environment. You will work closely with the team manager to establish customer requirements and offer them solutions.
On a day to day basis you will generate and follow up leads to grow the business, whilst managing and maintaining the e-commerce website. You will be involved in New Product Development including contributing to the associated marketing materials and customer presentations. You will need a good to basic understanding of chemistry to contribute to quality control. Furthermore you will have face to face involvement with customers at trade shows and meetings.
Essential Skills
Applicants should have a degree in Chemistry or a related field (e.g. Food Science, Bio Chemistry, Nutrition) with an interest in Food, Fragrances and cosmetics. Any interest or experience in marketing or sales will be beneficial. You must have the confidence and ability to talk to customers as well as technical colleagues.
