If you are, then you might fit very well within our business monitoring unit. Due to internal progression, we have a new position available as a Business Quality Assessor.

The main responsibilities of the Business Quality Assessor are to accurately carry out client file assessments quality checking, whilst providing support, guidance, and advice to the business on Quality of Advice matters. 

Along with quality, our people matter. The ability to build effective and supportive relationships with different people and departments internally in order to establish and maintain the appropriate Quality of Advice standards is a must. As well as assist with the implementation of compliance regulations and help educate the business.

We like those with an eye for detail as you will be responsible for both the checking and auditing of our Fact Finds.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • To accurately carry out file assessments to the required standards.
  • Monitoring performance by gathering relevant data and feeding back to the senior assessor for statistical reports.
  • Making suggestions for changes and improvements and how to implement them.
  • To build effective, supportive relationships with the case handlers, customer services and underwriters in order to establish and maintain the appropriate standards.
  • New business will need to be checked and audited, while maintenance of files is essential.
  • To make sure that the operational teams within the company are compliant and in line with FCA working regulations.
  • To assist with the implementation of compliance regulations and help educate the business.

Desired Skills

  • Previous experience within the financial services industry, preferably from a regulatory perspective
  • Previous experience of quality checking is desirable
  • Good understanding of Financial Conduct Authority regulations and the impact of regulatory risk
