Due to operational need, Carrs Jaguar Land Rover in Truro are looking to recruit an Apprentice Service Advisor to support all aspects of the Service care, booking and administration department.

What will I learn and be responsible for?

  • Booking customer’s vehicles into the technical diary for the Workshop vi the Kerridge system
  • Liaising with the Workshop Controllers and Technicians to keep track of vehicle progress and ensuring the vehicle is ready for the customer at the promised time
  • Providing exceptional customer service, including establishing customers hire/courtesy car requirements, updating customers whilst their vehicle is in our Workshop, handing over vehicles after service work is complete and maintaining ongoing relationships with your customers
  • Maintaining product expertise and updating your knowledge through Manufacturer led online and off site training
  • Adopting a professional approach regarding the sale of repairs required
  • Maintaining good housekeeping standards and orderly administration of your work

The successful Apprentice Service Advisor will need to be smartly presented, a team player, conscientious and possess excellent communication skills. We are looking for an individual who is highly organised and efficient whilst having the ability to build a rapport with our valued customers and develop strong and open working relationships with the wider team and colleagues. Solid administration and IT skills will be pre-requisite.
