We are looking for an experienced and proactive Account Manager to bring their creative flair to our friendly account management team!

This role is based in Colwick Quays Nottingham, working Monday to Friday with hybrid working opportunities.
Responsibilities of the Account Manager
- Deliver agreed targets (i.e., revenue, margin, volume) within agreed budget to meet the wider requirements of the business for nominated customers.
- Adhere to/exceed Sales KPIs relevant to Account Manager role.
- Achieve assigned activity goals and other defined targets for the territory or group of customers/accounts as agreed with the reporting manager.
- Serve as key point of contact for all assigned accounts.
- Promote and sell all Parcelhub products and services to defined customer base; cross sell other Parcelhub and Whistl Group services where appropriate.
- Negotiate and agree product, service, and pricing terms with customers within agreed limits.
- Ensure correct information/data is provided for billing purposes and facilitate prompt payment by customers once invoiced.
- Ensure contractually agreed service standards are provided to individual customers and where necessary, liaise with the operations and other functional areas to ensure any issues are resolved in a timely manner to the customer’s satisfaction.
- Provide customers with regular reports in agreed timescales and where appropriate investigate and report any shortfall/discrepancies highlighted by such reports to the line manager.

Essential Skills
- Ability to understand and articulate customer needs and requirements.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, including ability to adapt communication style, amount, and format based upon the audience.

- Ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, including ability to analyse data and draw relevant conclusions.
- At least two years of Parcel Industry experience.
- Proven track record in field-based Account Management.
- Proven track record in meeting sales targets.
- Full, valid UK driving licence.
- Good knowledge of postal and parcel industry as well as knowledge of any specific market sectors.
Desired Skills
- Competent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Regular domestic/regional travel
